May 3 – Finally, a Day of Leisure

It is an off and on rainy day, dreary and overcast.  A great day to stay inside.  We totally forgot about our COVID tests yesterday, so we were able to arrange for someone to come to the hotel today to give us the test.  We spent much of the day working on photos and the blog and packing for the next leg of our travels.

Neither of us were real hungry at lunch so we sent back to the restaurant we ate at last night and had lentil soup and hummus.  They had great hummus

We got a photo of the odometer on our car.  This trip we traveled 4016.8 kilometers around Turkey (not counting our flight to Cappadocia).  That's 2,596 miles.  We decided we have seen a lot of Turkey.

Great trip.  Tomorrow we fly to Uzbekistan for new adventures.
